Vivienne
Arango, and Brittany Bruce look over the makeup colors at the "Let's
Get Beautiful" class, a four-week, one-hour-per-week program offered
at the Scott Rakow Youth Center and taught by a professional makeup artist.
The girls were considering signing up for a future class. At top right,
Lauren Peterson, 14, gets her lips painted by a friend from the Lip Wheel
of Colors. Below, Lauren Vargas, 13 (standing) applies makeup to her friend,
Julie Ryan, 13, during the final class of the October session when the
participants got to practice what they learned on their friends. The next
four-week session begins November 5th.
