Makeup, Nancy Rand has taken her place in the top ranks of Makeup Artists,
with her modern and personalized style has proved that she is here to
stay.
Born
in Brooklyn, New York, Nancy Rand was the second of three children raised
by a father, who made his living as an entrepreneur and a devoted mother
and wife, who assisted in the success of the business. In her early twenties,
Rand began working as the Promotion/Merchandising Coordinator for Redbook
Magazine (Hearst Publications). During her years at Redbook, her passion
for creativity was ignited.
In
1991, Rand moved to Miami, Florida. That is where her creation of TOUCH
COSMETICS came about (now available online at www.touchcosmetics.com).
Her cosmetic line is seen on the editorial beauty pages of Lincoln Road
Magazine, Aventura Magazine and spas such as The Point in Aventura and
Eden Roc Hotel and Spa, but also her artistic and natural abilities as
a makeup artist became well known among the prestigious Hispanic publication,
Selecta Magazine. Rand has been fortunate enough to work on hand with
celebrities and royalty such as: Emilio Estefan, Ivana Trump, Chabeli
Iglesias, Sofia Vergara, Carlos Ponce, Princess Elizabeth and Prince Dimitri
of Yugoslavia, Irene Saez, former Miss Universe of Venezuela, The First
Lady of Colombia-Nora Pastrana, Singer Jaci Velasquez, Natalia Ramirez
of Betty La Fea, WSVN and Deco Drive News Correspondents. Most recently,
Rand worked on the commercial sets for both Palmolive with actress Charityn
and Jumex with Mexican Singer Christian Castro. Her makeup artistry and
cosmetic line were featured on "Deco Drive"; an up beat program
broadcast on WSVN. She was featured on the worldwide Spanish program,
"Primer Impacto", which is broadcast throughout Univision.
Her
precision and dedication towards her career and helping others has given
her the opportunity to sponsor numerous charity functions such as "The
Look For Success", a welfare to work program for women, WIZO - Women
International Zionist Organization, JAFCO, helping the homeless and abused
children & the Animal Rescue.
Nancy
Rand has found her niche in the world of beauty with her philosophy on
